A online book Artilce for Your Viewing
So, you have decided to start an ebook business. The question: what kind of ebook are you going to sell and how to bring it into the market?
The first thing you should know before bringing a product into the market is: SUPPLY + NO DEMAND = NO SALES. That is why you have to carefully research what people want, then find a suitable product that will meet that demand.
To do a research, visit http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion. Throw in these keywords: ?Buy?, ?Learn?, ?How to?, and a list of popular search terms (ranked by number of searches per month) will appear. Using this information, you can determine what exactly your market wants, then decide on a suitable product to meet that demand. Other than using these tools, you can post questions in forums and ask people what they want. Very often, they will provide you with good answers.
After deciding a suitable product, only then should you decide on how it would be brought into the market.
There are 3 main ways to bring an ebook into the market:
1) Creating your own ebook
2) Being an affiliate
3) Purchasing resale rights to other people?s product.
Creating your own ebook
Creating your own ebook is not as hard as you think. It is a simple doing an intensive research on the topic you are going to write, then compile your findings into a report or an ebook and sell it at a price people are willing to pay.
In addition to writing your own material, you can use information from the public domain. Public domain information is usually written texts that have no copyright.
Creating your product using public information could be profitable when done right.
Being an affiliate to other people?s products
You can quite simply sell other peoples products as an affiliate for a share of the profits. The owner of the product gets a sale for their product that they would never have had, and you will get a check at the end of the month for selling that product on the owner?s behalf. Some product owners are willing to pay out as much as 60% of the profit. That is a healthy percentage. You can visit http://www.clickbank.com/ or http://www.associateprograms.com/ to for a huge list of affiliate programs you can join.
Purchasing resale rights
Not interested in being an affiliate or creating your own ebook? No problem... You can always find ebooks that offer resale rights that are already selling very well on the internet. You purchase the resale rights, sell the ebook, and keep 100% profits when that ebook is sold. Ebooks that come with resale rights often come bundled together with the sales letter and some marketing materials. When choosing a great product
, do:
-Look for some level of exclusivity
-Look for quality sales letters
-Look for products with a wide market appeal
-Avoid products that are commonly included in packages

This bag fits all of the needs I wanted fulfilled - it's light, has a lot of pockets and everything is easily accessible. It is also well made with a thick and secure shoulder strap. The cell phone pocket is a little snug, but my phone is able to fit in it without too much effort. It's a great bag and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to travel light but carry as many items as possible without weighing down your shoulder.

Read untold tales of those behind the drinks. Vintage images, new recipes and great full-color photography. Specs: Dimensions: 5 1/2W x 8 1/2H. 183 pages.
Customer Review: Not just the drinks, but the history too
It's always a pleasure when a book exceeds your expectations, and this one was such a pleasurable surprise.
I had bought based upon a favorable review in the New York Times, but that review focused on the quality and authenticity of the recipes for tropical drinks. And, certainly, the book delivers on this.
But that's just part of the book. The rest of the book focuses on the story of how these drinks (born out of a prohibition-repeal era that was awash with rum) and their makers fueled the whole growth of Tiki Bars and eventually led to the (re-)introduction of Polynesian theming to Hawaii.
If you like light history with your dark rum, this is the book for you!

While the majority of web users are honest people, you must accept that some people WILL try their best to steal your products.
For this reason, it's important that you take some measures to ensure that your product isn't being illegally copied and/or distributed.
In this article (the first of two on this subject) I'll look at the issue of copyright protection.
In part two I'll be looking at practical measures you can take to prevent people from accessing your download pages or passing your ebook on to others
ESTABLISHING YOUR COPYRIGHT
This information is intended to act as an introduction to the concept of copyright. Please be aware that I'm not a legal expert. If you've any doubts regarding copyright then you should seek legal advice.
Copyright is the name given to the protection of your 'right to copy' a published work.
When you own the copyright to a work, you've the right to reproduce any number of copies of that work in any way you choose. You can also grant copy rights to others.
Once you create a published work, your copyright to that work applies automatically. You do not need to formally register your copyright in order for your copyright of that work to legally
exist. In fact, you do not even need to place a copyright statement on the work.
Having said that, it's still a good idea to formally register your copyright.
In the event that someone has stolen you work, having registered your copyright may entitle you to claim for compensation from the offender. If you haven't formally registered the work, then legally seeking compensation can be much more difficult.
For a closer examination of this important point, read this article by Mark Levine:
http://www.clickandcopyright.com/why_copyright.htm
THE MINIMUM YOU SHOULD DO
If you are hesitant about paying fees to register your copyright, then there are still other measures you can take to make sure that the world knows who owns your work (you should follow these steps EVEN if you DO register copyright).
You should include your copyright statement at the bottom of every page of your book (and your website and everything else you create).
Including a copyright statement is no guarantee that your work will not be stolen. It's also no assurance that you'll be able to recover royalties or loss of earnings from someone who infringes your copyright.
However, it stamps the work as being yours. It makes it clear to those who might be tempted to copy it, that they don't have that right.
Example of a copyright statement...
Copyright 2003 Your Name (or company name). All rights reserved worldwide.
No part of this e-book may be copied or sold.
Note: Some people use (c) (the letter 'c' in brackets) instead of the official copyright symbol (the letter 'c' surrounded by a circle). In many countries the law does not recognize this as a copyright symbol and it's not a given that a court will accept it as valid. You should ALWAYS write the word 'Copyright' in FULL as part of your copyright statement and you should use the official copyright symbol.
You should also include a copyright page in your e-book. Take a look at the copyright information in any e-book (or paper book) for ideas on what you should include on this page.
Another idea that may be useful - in a legal sense - is to print out a copy of your e-book on paper and save a copy on to a diskette (or CD-ROM).
Place both the paper version and the diskette in an envelope and mail it to yourself via REGISTERED mail. Hold on to the receipt for the mail and when the package arrives to your home, put it away in a SAFE place (together with the receipt) WITHOUT opening it.
This is proof that you had the document in your possession at the date of the mailing. If you do this before your e-book goes 'live' then you're sure that nobody can have copied your work before this date.
Here are a few websites where you can learn more about copyright issues...

Okay, I hope that this has helped you understand the question of copyright a little better. In the next articlee, I'll continue on
the question of ebook protection by looking at practical measures you can put in place to prevent people from stealing your ebook from your website.

My First Golf Book (My First Book Series)
A first look at golf, written for young children. Colorful, delightfully illustrated. Great fun for story time.
Customer Review: Intro to golf fun for the very young
This is a great book for those who want to introduce young children to the concept that golf is fun! My 3 children have enjoyed this book since they were very young and it has helped my 4 yr old son develop an interest in the sport. At a young age it's most important to focus on how much fun the game can be and not get caught up with being concerned that your children with actually build sand castles in the traps. The author, a PGA pro, really did a nice job on this book!
Customer Review: First golf book
I returned this book because it has absolutely nothing to do with golf--sand castles in the bunker and kids rolling around on the green. I guess adding lightning to the rainstorm might have taught one lesson in the book. It certainly doesn't portray the behavior I want from my children on or near a course.

Customer Review: Sorry I spent my money
I was hoping for a real review. The book seems to compare the top 10 vitamin brand by brochure. I didn't like it!
Customer Review: an excellent guide for consumer
This is an excellent guide for the consumers to choose quality supplements. It gives ratings (1 to 5 stars) to more than 1500 multivitamins in North America. Supplements from Kroger, Walgrees and costco, etc get a very low score of their products. I'm suprised. I highly recommend this book to someone who is taking supplements or considering taking supplements.

Dodge Durango and Dakota Pick-ups (2000-2003) Repair Manual
Customer Review: The best out there, but has flaws
If there ever was a Haynes guide for a vehicle I own, I got it! I have seen the others from factory shop manuals, Chilton's, etc and they just don't match up.
I have a 2002 Dakota Quad Cab. There are two years before me and one year after me. I feel that the revisions to later model years isn't handled very well. I don't think that it justifies an entire separate manual, but it would be better if alternate diagrams/instructions were there for the later years.
In all, it didn't keep me from getting the jobs done. I would still get this manual over all others for this truck.

Today's bookings Article
How do you get paid more for everything that you know and do? You become known as THE expert on a given topic. How do you do that? One very good way is to write a book. No, not an ebook - an actual print book. "What's wrong with an ebook?" I hear you asking.
The answer lies in the fact that anything that is too easy is not considered very valuable. That's why doctors and lawyers get paid more than taxi drivers and waitresses. The "barriers to entry" make it more "expensive" to become a doctor or lawyer, which makes being a doctor or lawyer a scarcer skill, which allows them to charge more for that skill.
Anyone can write and publish an ebook. To do that all you really need to do is:
It really is THAT easy, and therein lies the problem.
Thousands of people have published "junk ebooks" that aren't worth the electrons they're "printed on!" If you're like me, you probably have dozens of these on your hard-drive right now. You know... free ebooks that sounded great, but when you downloaded them, you quickly discovered that they were worth exactly what you paid for them. These ebooks often contain out-of-date, inaccurate, or commonly known information. The very worst ones are those written by people who have no idea what they're talking about, so they repeat inaccurate information that they found elsewhere.
Don't get me wrong. Ebooks are a great tool. I use them for viral marketing, as a handy training tool, and even as for-sale products. Since ebooks are cheaper to produce, you will sell them to people who don't want to pay the higher price for a print book, or to people who simply don't want to wait to get them in the mail.
The big difference in writing a print book is that people perceive someone who has written a "real" book differently. People assume that writing a book is hard work, so when they hear that you've published a print book, they attribute lots of great qualities to you. They reflect back upon when writing and publishing a book was a BIG challenge.
My friend, Elsom Eldridge Jr., author of "How To Position Yourself As The Obvious Expert In 90 Days Or Less Without Spending A Fortune On Advertising," taught me all about why writing and printing a book is a very powerful way to firmly establish yourself as an expert on a topic. Being considered the expert on a topic does mean that you can charge more for what you do, say, and produce.
I recently did a teleseminar-interview with Elsom on this very topic. You can grab the MP3 recording and/or the PDF transcript of this interview from my website at: http://WillieCrawford.com/write-a-real-book.html
It's my free gift to you :-)
If writing a real book allows you to better brand yourself as THE EXPERT, then why don't more people do it? I think many people simply think that it's too expensive. I'll let you in on a secret...
... My first physical book was a cookbook. It's 184 pages, and contains 250 of my own recipes. I simply made a list of recipes, typed them out, had a cover designed, found a few graphics/photos, and had it printed. I now sell this cookbook from my website at http://Chitterlings.com/cookbook.html for $16.95 per copy plus shipping and handling. The secret.... it costs me less than $1 each to print these books.
I simply went on the Internet and found a number of printers, then I compared prices. Since one of the least expensive ones I found was a short drive from where I live, I scheduled an appointment to go over and discuss my project. In volume, these books were so cheap that I ordered a mini-warehouse full. You don't have to visit your printer to set-up your project - I did just because they were so close.
I chose a cookbook as my first project because I couldn't think of anything else at the time. A cookbook is easy to write, and if it's on the right type of cooking, it should sell well. You can find more information on how to easily write and produce your own cookbook at:
http://WriteACookbook.com
That's where I have the transcripts and MP3 from a teleseminar I did with two other cookbook authors on that very topic.
If you don't want to order lots of copies of your print book, you don't have to. There are companies that do print-on-demand. They will print as few as one copy at a time, and then drop-ship your order right to your customers. A print-on-demand printer that I work with a lot is at:http://WillieCrawford.com/print-on-demand.html
Ok, so it's not that expensive to write a "real" book, or to turn your ebook into a print book. However, you need more reasons to go through all of that trouble.
Well...
As you can see, ebooks are "ok" but the real professional also publishes his books in print form. Hopefully, you see that it's not very difficult or expensive. Now that you know, you can separate yourself, in the mind of the consumers, from the perception many may have of ebooks. You'll brand yourself as a serious professional and an expert.

About The Author Willie Crawford is a corporate president, published author, seminar speaker and host, tele-seminar speaker and host, retired military officer, karate black belt, Master Network Marketing Trainer, and lifetime student of marketing. He shows people how to actually generate substantial income on-line using very simple, easily modeled systems. An example of such a system that you can study and duplicate is at: Wife: "Hey honey, the brakes seem to be leaking on my car." Husband: "We'll fix that later." (BAD ANSWER) Wife: "Hey honey, how's the new website coming along?" Husband: "It's up and live! It may not be perfect, but we'll fix that later." (GOOD ANSWER) Wife: "Hey honey, the sewer is backing up and the toilet is overflowing all over the master bathroom floor." Husband: "We'll fix that later." (BAD ANSWER) Wife: "Hey honey, have you started with that electronic newsletter you were talking about?" Husband: "I did! The first issue went out yesterday. It's no Pulitzer Prize candidate, but we'll fix that later." (GOOD ANSWER) Wife: "Hey honey, the dog just 'blew chunks' all over the pile of freshly folded laundry." Husband: "We'll fix that later." (BAD ANSWER) Wife: "Hey honey, did you ever finish the ebook you had hoped to write?" Husband: "Ya baby!... and I've sold 4 copies from my Google AdWords traffic just today." (GOOD ANSWER) "We'll fix that later." Incorporate this short little, very powerful sentence into your vocabulary today. These are not swear words. It's a deadly trap to get caught in the mindset that everything needs to be perfect before you ever announce anything to the world. Look around the internet... ~ How many ugly websites do you see? ~ How many cheesy ebooks have you downloaded? ~ How many glitchy software applications do you use every day? Perfection is an illusion. It'll never happen. Don't let the pursuit of perfection become an ideal that results in inaction. Jim Rohn tells this story... A man was visiting a neighbor's new home site. The neighbor had been collecting building materials on his bare vacant lot for years now. He'd amassed an incredible collection of lumber, windows, plumbing and lighting fixtures, doors, concrete block, shingles, siding, drywall and much more. Everything was stacked in mountainous piles around the barren dirt lot. The man said to his neighbor, "It looks like you're going to have quite a house here." The neighbor replied, "Just wait till you see the rest of the stuff I've got coming." The moral of the story is stop collecting "stuff" and start building something. Do it now. Forward motion, even just a little, will have profound effects on what you see in the days ahead. Copyright 2005 Ron Hutton
