A Little Piece Of History Of Books And Literature On Web Authoring

I guess you are all wondering, why start with the history of Books and literature on web authoring, to most of you it might sound pretty boring, like 'blah blah blah' most importantly this gives us an insight into how far the world wide web has come from its inception. This is a handy part to know for a budding web authors.

Web Authoring, also known widely as web design is the know how to build a doorstep to you from the world vastly unlimited space of the world wide web. From the inception of the world wide web hypertext concept by Tim Berners-Lee, to the public arena commercially in 1996, along side with the Webby Awards (an award for the recognition of the best websites) in 1995, has drawn great interests in creating a piece of virtual paradise. Over the years there has been many books and other literature, written on how to build websites, turning what looks like a plain screen into to the beautiful sites such as Microsoft and Apple Computers.

As the world wide web grew, many problems and challenges were faced, the first being the amount of browsing software, secondly the differing formats. A browser is like the visual tool to view the pages published on the world wide web. The browser in itself like different cars, they handle and operate differently firstly because of their internal engines, and it's visual interface, this is noticeable if you have experimented with Mozilla Firefox (using Netscape open source Mozilla Engine), and the Internet Explorer series of browsers. As such, this affects the way in which the website is coded, to accommodate for the differences in handling.

The secondary issue is that there are many different formats in which that can be coded, such as .html, .asp, .php. This has come about because of the number of different core operating systems available in the industry such as Windows Server, UNIX, and LINIX. Due to this complexity, there has been numerous Books and Literature on Web Authoring based in each of the coding format. Despite the differences and the complexities of all the above, there are key basics which are adhered to in Web Authoring, and as such most Books and Literature on Web Authoring cover these key aspects.

Peanuts: Easter Beagle Charlie Brown

Peanuts: Easter Beagle Charlie Brown
The thirteenth installment in the evergreen Charlie Brown animated series, It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown, is a delightful romp through the rites of spring. The running gag that holds this string of episodic misadventures together is Peppermint Patty's futile attempts at explaining how to make Easter eggs to Marcy. Highlights of this rather surreal Peanuts outing include Snoopy's dancing with little bunny rabbits inside a kaleidoscope, Sally heading to the mall to purchase a pair of platform shoes (this video was made in 1974), and Woodstock's lavishly equipped bachelor-pad birdhouse. As with the best of the Peanuts cartoons, this will entertain children and adults alike, and is one of the last of the series to feature a music score by Vince Guaraldi. --Kristian St. Clair

Customer Review: Comes with Bonus TV Special

This classic story is as cute as ever on DVD and it comes with a bonus special...It's Arbor Day Charlie Brown...which is also really cute and perfect to watch in the spring. Buy and enjoy!

Customer Review: An Fulfilling Easter Treat

In IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN, Sally longs for a new pair of shoes to wear on Easter Sunday, Peppermint Patty attempts to teach Marcy how to die Easter eggs, Snoopy buys Woodstock a new birdhouse, and Linus tries to convince everyone that they should ignore the apparent hustle and bustle of preparing for Easter and stop worrying because the Easter Beagle will take care of everything. Linus' story reminds Sally of the Great Pumpkin just a little too much, but she wants to believe her Sweet Baboo. Complete with a familiar, though this time subtle anti-consumerism message and an unintentional allegory about faith, IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN is a spring-time treat that families can enjoy watching together.

This remastered deluxe version of IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN also includes a second television special, a special featurette, and a few trailers. The second Peanuts episode on the disc is IT'S ARBOR DAY, CHARLIE BROWN. Sally is given a school assignment to research Arbor Day. Her quest leads her to wanting to plant trees, flowers, and a garden. Lucy, Linus, and a few others join her and start growing a bunch of plants on Charlie Brown's baseball field. Charlie Brown is shocked when the season opener against Peppermint Patty's team rolls around and he finds his field has been turned into a garden. But, the game goes on and surprisingly Charlie Brown's gets a winning run and leads the game.

The featurette on the DVD is "In Full Bloom: Peanuts at Easter" offers an inside look at the creation of IT'S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN. The featurette explores how the special came to me, Schulz's intentions in the making of the cartoon, what people take away from watching it, etc.

A must-have for Peanuts fans as well as a good Easter video that entire families can watch together.

Little Einstein's Pat Pat Rocket

Little Einstein's Pat Pat Rocket
Customer Review: Go Rocket!

We bought our daughter a room full of toys for Christmas. After opening all her gifts she would have been happy with just this one, she loves it! Only down fall for mom and dad is the speaker is LOUD! Other than that it is really cool. Its a litle two heavy for a two year old to use the handle that retracts from the bottom but she just carries it with two hands and has a blast! If your kids love Little Einsteins dont hesitate to buy this, if they dont watch Little Einsteins they should be!

Customer Review: One of the better Einstein toys

There's not really a lot out there when it comes to Little Einsteins, making it a tough call for toys to buy my obsessed son. Rocket is a great toy though. It is fairly large, but easy to hold and fly for a three year old (mine is two and needs help). It has a LOT of sayings, including each time you place a figure in their corresponding seat. The fins are a hard rubber type, as well as the dongle, making the fear of snapping them off or stabbing someone very minimal. The handle for flying is retractable. Rocket lights up, and makes great noises that so far have not annoyed me. My son loves it, and is easily one of his favorites. My gripe is that it doesn't have many accessories, and other parts come in the playsets (which seem very boring). It also isn't even remotely educational like the show. It is purely for fun. Now come on Disney, license some more Einstein products, that encompass the show more!

Carnival Steel Drum Collection: Hot Hot Hot & More, Vol.1
This unique collection offers instrumental steel drum versions of popular favorites.

Songs: Red Red Wine, I Can See Clearly Now, Day'O, Limbo Rock, Shake Senora, Jammin', La Bamba, Tequila, Volcano, Hot, Hot, Hot.

Customer Review: Ugh!

I was looking for music for an island theme party. The selection looked fun -- a lot of recognizable summer party songs with the steel drum flair. But then I bought it and actually listened to it. The steel drum parts are really good; however, the synthesized accompaniment is over powering and really cheesy (it sounds like it should be on Barney). Please, save your money and look elsewhere.

Customer Review: It's like being in the Caribbean

We listen to this CD while we are swimming in the pool or just hanging out with neighbors on our deck. It is great background music and makes you feel like you are on vacation.
